Reverse Grip Machine Lat Pulldown

This exercise uses a machine to make your back muscles strong. You hold the handles with your palms facing up, which also works your arm muscles. You sit down and pull the handles to your chest while squeezing your shoulder blades together.

How to Perform

  1. 1Fix the seat height so your knees fit tightly under the pads. Put your feet flat on the floor.
  2. 2Hold the handles with your palms facing up. Keep your hands a little wider than your shoulders.
  3. 3Sit up tall with your chest out. Keep a small curve in your lower back.
  4. 4Pull the handles down to your chest. Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you pull.
  5. 5Stop for a moment at the bottom. Then, slowly let the handles go back up to where you started.
  6. 6Do this again for the number of times you want.
