Weighted Donkey Calf Raise

This exercise works your calf muscles. You stand on a raised step with extra weight and lift your heels up and down. It also helps your leg and bottom muscles a little bit.

Weighted Donkey Calf Raise demonstration

How to Perform

  1. 1Stand on a step with your toes on the edge and your heels hanging off the back.
  2. 2Hold onto something sturdy to keep your balance.
  3. 3Push your toes down to lift your heels up as high as they can go.
  4. 4Wait for a second at the top, then slowly lower your heels back to where they started.
  5. 5Do this again for as many times as you need.
